A large amount of leakage of steel shots has caused unnecessary waste of steel shots, and increased the amount of extra labor to clean up the steel shots, which has a great impact on the surrounding environment. The steel shot thrown on the ground poses a safety hazard for the operation of the operator, which brings inconvenience to the equipment maintenance personnel's equipment inspection and maintenance work.

In view of the problem of steel shot leakage at the exit of the shot blasting machine, after an on-site investigation, an improved plan for adding a set of steel shot collection devices at the exit of the shot blasting machine was proposed. The working principle of the steel shot collection device is to collect the steel shots coming out of the steel belt through the brush roller to collect the steel shots into the conveying screw, and then the conveying screw conveys the steel shots to the conveying screw under the shot blasting machine and enters the elevator to achieve Recycling.
The steel shot collection device is composed of conveying screw, roller brush, transmission gear motor, device casing and so on. The position of the brush roller of the steel shot collection device can be adjusted according to the wear of the brush roller to meet the function of the equipment for cleaning the steel shot. Combined with the effective space on site and the actual situation of the equipment, the measurement determined the reasonable specific installation location and installation size of the steel shot collection device.
In order to realize the further recycling of steel shots, a steel shot collection groove is also installed under the steering roller. The collection groove is connected to the outlet of the steel shot collection device. The collection groove is inclined at 45 °, and some remaining steel shots continue to be taken out. During the process, the steel shots will fall into the collection tank, and then flow into the steel shot collection device to convey the screw.
