At present, the shot blast purification equipment used on the shot blasting machine equipment mainly includes two categories: air separation separator and magnetic separation separator. The air separation separator is suitable for small density and low content of impurities in the shot sand mixture. The winnowing separator has a low manufacturing cost and is therefore widely used. The magnetic separation separator is suitable for places where the density of impurities in the separation sand and sand mixture is large, and its separation effect is better than that of the air separation separator, which can reach 99.5%. Especially when the amount of impurities in the shot blast circulation system is greater than 10%, the advantages of the magnetic separator are more significant.
1. Structure composition and principle
The magnetic separator is mainly composed of a screw conveyor, a separator housing, a primary magnetic separation drum, a secondary magnetic separation drum, a flow conditioning board, and a magnetic pole adjustment device.
The working principle of the magnetic separator is that when the shot and sand mixture enters the spiral conveyor through the pellet population, the mixture evenly distributes the material through the spiral conveyor, and flows uniformly from the flow conditioning board to the top-level magnetic separator drum of the separator. The first magnetic separation was carried out, and the shot and sand mixture arrived at the first-level magnetic separation drum. The metal pellets were sucked by the magnetic separation drum and rolled with the drum. They were brought to the non-magnetic area and dropped to the metal silo. The completely separated pellets (mostly non-metallic materials) enter the secondary magnetic separation drum for 2 magnetic separations. The metal materials flow to the metal silo, and the non-metallic materials flow to the non-metallic silo. Non-metallic materials can be processed according to process requirements. After the separation of the two-stage magnetic separation drum, the power of the shot blasting machine is far better than that of the traditional single-stage magnetic separation drum.

2.1 Screw conveyor
The blades on the spiral axis of the screw conveyor are two-way spirals. It can collect the shot and sand mixture of different parts above the separation area according to the process requirements. Together with the spiral blades, the shots are pushed forward to spread the shots evenly. It is convenient for the top-level magnetic separation roller to be fully separated.
2.2 One (two) class magnetic separation drum
The magnetic separation drum is mainly composed of wear-resistant drums, magnetic blocks, magnetic pole adjustment equipment, shafts, etc., in order to greatly improve the magnetic field strength of the top roller of the shot blasting machine list and improve the separation power. The magnetic blocks in the meantime adopt a special shape, and The magnetic field strength has also improved appropriately compared with the conventional magnetic block, and it is determined to be 1400 Gauss to 1500 Gauss, and the number of magnetic system poles is 8. Adjusting the magnetic pole adjustment equipment can achieve different separation effects. In order to improve the life of the drum, the outer surface of the drum is covered with a layer of wear-resistant rubber. The outer surface of the rubber is evenly distributed with six tapered bosses, so that the drum is rotating. Together, it can constantly turn the material layer, and can improve the separation power.
2.3 Flow conditioning board, magnetic pole adjustment equipment
If the metal material contains too much non-metal material or the non-metal material contains too much metal material, adjust the magnetic pole adjustment equipment of the two magnetic separation rollers of the shot blasting machine, change the direction of the magnetic field, or adjust the flow conditioning board to modify The shot flow violates the spacing of the center of the drum to achieve a satisfactory finishing effect.
